What can cause heel spurs?
Usually, heel spurs are caused by long-term muscle and ligament strain. This condition develops over time and can cause a lot of discomfort, if not treated appropriately. This condition may also be cause by:

- Bruising of the heel
- Excess body weight
- Poorly fitted shoes
- Worn-out shoes
Diagnosis:
- Physical examination by preferred podiatrist
- Xrays
Treatment:
- Steriod injection
- Icing the affected area
- Prescribe anti-inflammatory medication
- Custom molded orthotics
- Highly recommend physical therapy
